Officers

Officers help run the snowboard club at Michigan. They often wear jerseys to events so members can identify them easily. They are approachable and encourage anyone to come up and talk with them at events.

President
Cori Spetnagel
Cori is a senior from St. Louis studying civil engineering. With dreams of the big leagues, she will be heading to Denver next fall to build projects and experience snow that actually comes from the sky. When not snowboarding, she moonlights as a triathlete, improv apologist, thrift warrior, and collector of parking tickets.
Vice President
Leah Jankoska
Leah is a senior studying Biochemistry. When not in the lab, she enjoys snowboarding, playing tennis, backpacking, and keeping up with Letterboxd. On the mountain, she is often found recording Cori sending it.
Treasurer
Sawyer Smith
Sawyer is the 2025–2026 MSC treasurer. He has been snowboarding for about ten years, and his favorite trick is falling down. When not searching for buried treasure, he enjoys Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.
Advisor
William Hong
William is a senior studying Aerospace Engineering. When not snowboarding, he spends much of his time in the Duderstadt building. In his free time, he enjoys skating, hiking, and spending time with friends.

MLK Coordinator
Conor Sullivan
Conor is a junior from Portage, MI studying chemical engineering. He has been skiing since 3rd grade and considers himself just okay. Conor loves to run and hates treadmills. He encourages everyone to join the MLK trip.
Social Chair
Paul Vigneau
Paul is a junior majoring in MCDB and is on the pre-med track. When not skiing, he enjoys music, video games, and spending time with friends. He frequently visits his cottage in Port Sanilac. He looks forward to a great year and wishes everyone happy shredding.

Luke Hogan
Luke is a junior at Ross, where he spends mornings increasing shareholder value and afternoons playing with Play-Doh. He aspires to become just another cog in the machine after graduation, but for now, he enjoys music, college football, and reminding his friends that 'this is our semester.' Luke hopes everyone enjoys MSC socials this year and will probably check in to ask if they are having a good time.

Calla Williams
Calla is a fundraising chair for MSC this year and a Public Health student. She loves snowboarding, meeting new people, and attending sports games—especially Michigan football and White Sox baseball. She is excited for another amazing season with MSC.

Olya Brazhnikova
Olya is a sophomore at UMich likely studying neuroscience and biophysics. She has been skiing her whole life and went on the 2025 Spring Break Trip with MSC to Colorado. After spraining her wrist while attempting snowboarding on flat ground, she decided to stick with skiing, but she remains excited to be part of the MSC EBoard this year.

Halle Paternoster
Halle is a senior studying architecture and comes from the Upper Peninsula of Michigan near Lake Superior (her favorite lake). Besides skiing and snowboarding, she enjoys camping, hiking, surfing, and making friendship bracelets—which she happily shares.

Ariel is a sophomore from Northern Michigan majoring in applied exercise science with plans to pursue a career as a chiropractor. She loves sunsets, naps, and Dr. Pepper. When not skiing, she is often playing volleyball or tucked away in a corner with her iPad.

Quinn Brophy
Quinn is a senior from Saline, MI studying communications and media. He loves riding and aims for at least 30 days on the hill each season. He also enjoys spending time with friends around Ann Arbor and being outdoors in general.

Talia Kornzweig
Talia is a third-year club member and first-time officer. She learned to ski with MSC and is excited to contribute to inclusion and accessibility in the club.
Public Relations
Blake Banninger
Blake is the PR chair for the year. He is a junior from Waterford, MI studying business. Growing up near Boyne Mountain gave him a lifelong love for skiing. After serving as fundraising chair last year, he is excited to take on this new role. In his free time, he enjoys being overly competitive at Mario Kart, jokingly humble, lollygagging, scheming, and being mediocre at pool.

Ethan Scott
Ethan is a junior studying aerospace engineering from St. Louis. He is passionate about space and is always eager to share knowledge on the subject. He is a Michigan sports fan, a skier, a budding golfer, and a sailor during the summer.
